Privacy policy
myfreepdf.org reads and processes the documents you choose in your browser. Editing and converting happen locally. Choosing Save to My documents uploads a private copy to your signed-in account.
Accounts and saved documents
Website sign-in uses ChatGPT. We receive your site-specific account identifier and email, and sometimes a display name. Saved PDF contents are stored in private cloud object storage; the filename, size, save time, and owning account identifier are stored in our database. The website checks ownership before listing, opening, downloading, or deleting documents. Saved documents remain until you delete them through My documents. They are not public links and are not shared with advertising or analytics services by our tools.
You can store up to 20 PDFs, 50 MB per file, and 200 MB total. Each save makes a new copy. Deleting a saved document removes its stored file and list entry; copies you downloaded remain on your devices. Website accounts are not yet linked to native app accounts or Pro subscriptions.
Saved signatures on this device
If you choose Remember on this device, a signature image is kept in this browser’s local storage for reuse. Remove it through the signature tool or clear the site’s browser data. This is optional; signatures are otherwise used only in the open workspace and any PDF you choose to save.
Your open documents
Selected files, edits, passwords, and conversion results are used in the current browser workspace. Closing or refreshing the page clears that workspace. Download your result or save it to My documents before leaving, and keep your original file when you need it.
Browser downloads and cached resources
PDF engines, fonts, and OCR language files load from this website. Your browser may cache those resources. Documents that you download are saved according to your browser or device settings; this website does not manage your downloaded copies.
Website hosting
Serving the website requires normal connection information, such as an IP address and browser request details. Hosting services may process that information to deliver and operate the site. Local document processing does not mean that visiting the website involves no network requests.
Website analytics
We collect first-party counts of page views, PDF tool use, completed conversions, download requests, and clicks on Donate and Contact. Reports include the page path, broad traffic-source category, and device type. Analytics never receives your PDF contents, filenames, entered text, signatures, passwords, or full referring URLs.
To estimate daily visitors, the server briefly processes connection information into a secret, daily-changing token. Raw IP addresses and browser identification strings are not stored in the analytics database. Tokens are removed after the two previous UTC days as new traffic arrives; daily totals remain. Estimates may combine people sharing a connection or count someone again after a connection change. Daily visitor totals cannot be added together to calculate unique monthly visitors.
The first-party analytics uses no cookies or browser storage identifiers. We also use Google Analytics to measure website visits and tool events. Google may use cookies and process connection and device information. Document contents, filenames, entered text, signatures, and passwords are not sent to Google Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Blockers, privacy settings, and network failures can prevent a visit from being counted. Donation clicks are not completed donations, and download requests do not confirm that a file was saved.
Advertising
This website includes Google AdSense code. When Google serves ads, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies and connection information to measure and deliver advertising. PDF contents, filenames, signatures, passwords and entered document text are not provided to AdSense by our tools. Learn about Google’s advertising data practices and manage preferences in My Ad Center.
Contact
For privacy questions, email converttojpg@gmail.com or visit My Free PDF support.
The Contact button opens your email app. Information you choose to send by email is handled by the email providers involved. Avoid sending confidential documents when reporting a problem.
Donations and external links
The optional Donate $5 button opens a one-time Wix checkout. Payment and checkout information is handled by Wix and its payment providers under the terms shown there. PDF contents are not passed to the donation checkout.
Links to other websites open services with their own data practices. You can use the PDF tools without making a donation or visiting those sites.
Using a shared device
Close the document workspace when you finish and manage downloaded files using your device’s controls. See About these tools for supported features and document limitations.
