How to add page numbers to a PDF

Preview page numbers directly on your PDF, drag them into position, and choose a font, size and color. Choose a starting number to continue an existing sequence or leave introductory pages out of the numbering.

  1. Choose your PDF and enter the pages to number.
  2. Set the starting number, font, size and color; drag the handle to position the numbers.
  3. Check the preview with Previous and Next, then download the numbered PDF.

Can I skip a cover page?

Yes. Enter a page range that starts after the cover, then set the first printed number. New numbers are added to the page; existing numbers are not detected or removed automatically.
